Can AI have a soul? If God wasn’t happy about the Tower of Babel, what are we doing here? AI. Can AI have a soul?
We’ve got machines writing poetry, passing medical exams, holding conversations so real we forget it’s software.
So can AI have a soul?
Here’s the crucial distinction: AI emerges from below—data, computing power, pattern matching. Capabilities appear that nobody programmed. It’s genuinely impressive.
But a soul? A soul is given from above. When God breathed into dust, man became a living soul. Not an upgrade. Not an emergent property. A gift from the Creator.
AI can simulate conversation. It cannot relate.
AI can generate text about love. It cannot love.
AI can talk about God, but it cannot worship.
AI can process the word “love.” Only a soul can mean it.
