What’s the lesson of YOUR life? – Rev. Dr. Frank Balgeman #Jesus #God #love

The Sunday Morning Vlog

What’s the lesson of YOUR life? The word itself means something deliberately chosen to be read and absorbed. It was invented a long time ago for when Scripture was being read aloud in church. Which is absolutely perfect. Because the lesson of your life? It’s written in those same pages—every verse telling the story YOU’RE living right now. There’s only one life, one human being, and we’re all members of His life. His life overflows with normalcy, conflict, hassles, majesty, wisdom, miracles—but mostly? It’s filled with crucifixion. The lesson of your life is learning that you’re living a wise, victorious, even miraculous existence that looks and feels like the cross of Christ. And that lesson? It’s forged in the crucible of experience. The experience of loneliness. Cruelty. Rejection. Misunderstanding. You fill in the blanks. You know your heartaches. The disappointments. The betrayals scattered like breadcrumbs, leading you on this path that has arrived right here, scrolling, searching, asking questions. Learn the lesson of your life. The entire universe emerged from its crucified Creator. Easter isn’t a spring celebration—the Resurrection of Jesus announces the eternal stature, authority, and place of honor that the crucified man holds in God’s kingdom. Jesus is the lesson, deliberately chosen to be absorbed. Your suffering isn’t random. Your pain isn’t meaningless. You’re not alone in the darkness. You’re living His life. The crucified and risen Lord is the lesson—and you’re part of that story. Read it. Absorb it. Live it. I’m Frank Balgeman, the physics pastor from the Santa Cruz Mountains. Here endeth the lesson. God bless.
